monthly favorite & sneak peek-

as my monthly favorite of March, I chose my brown (faux!) leather jacket.

I find that it is perfect to throw over thin dress to remain warm, but here in Texas it has gotten very hot, very quick. I think my jacket wearing days are over until fall.

state flower-

this past weekend we took a mini-road-trip, to look for flowers. Yes, flowers.

I was a gorgeous spring day in the great state of Texas, and the fields were flooded with bluebonnets.
